What Conditions Benefit from Massage?
All people benefit from massage for stress reduction, relaxation and overall improved health.

  • Strains, sprains, whiplash and other musculoskeletal injuries
  • Post-surgical patients needing scar tissue treatment and/or edema symptom relief
  • Excess tension and stress
  • Chronic pain
  • Headaches
  • TMJD symptoms, including clenching, biting and headaches

What Are the Benefits of Combining Massage Therapy With Physical Therapy?

  • Comprehensive Treatment – When combing therapy, all aspects of the body are being used to treat the issue from all sides and restore health in its entirety. This comprehensive approach renders better results and often faster healing.
  • Faster Recovery – Massage therapy helps relax the muscles affected by the injury or surgery. In so doing, the patient is better able to complete exercises and stretches necessary for treatment.
  • Increased Range of Motion – Massage therapy loosens the muscles and reduces tension which can increase range of motion and make physical therapy more effective. Massage therapy assists in increasing flexibility and movement of the muscles, ligaments, and other soft tissue that have been impacted by injury or illness.
